The Odyssey Arena
The Odyssey Arena is very important to Belfast. It is the home for the Belfast Giants Ice Hockey team and is a prime venue for music concerts and other entertainment events. The Odyssey also features a bowling ally, 3D cinema, ordinary cinema and restaurants.
The Odyssey Arena is one of the key components in the redevelopment of Belfast along the Laganside. The Odyssey was completed in 2001[1].
The Odyssey features 4 main parts[2]:

- The Pavilion – contains bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a Storm (formerly Vue) 12–screen multiplex.
- The Sheridan IMAX – the first 3D IMAX in Northern Ireland, which has screened among other things Titanic and Ghosts of the Abyss.
- The Pavillion also plays host to Cool Fm's "Cool Pod" which broadcasts live on Friday and Saturday nights.
